Cubs back at full power
On Sunday the 29th November the Cubs played the Flyers for the second time in the season. After 2 games with a short roster, the Cubs were happy to have their full team on the bench. They have to improve their performance as they stayed on a 1-5 final score against the Flyers.

4 Cubs players have been selected to play with the B League Select Team vs the Chiefs a 3X20min period game...
B League Select 2 vs 23 Chiefs
(0-10, 0-8, 2-5)
Following the A League game Flyers vs Chiefs cancellation, the B league decided to take the opportunity to build a select team to play against the Chiefs. Players from Bulls B, Whalers, Vixens and Cubs have been called to take part of it.
The Cubs were represented by Jana Gerkena #23, Daria Grochowicz #66, Celia Robillard #13, Gaby Vlasankova #19
The other players were Elaine Mc Cann (Vixens), Jamies Cummins, Paul Cummins, Gary, Jason Mc Creanor (Whalers), John Carney, Stephen Mc Entee, Jussi Pitkanen, Aidan Morris and Roman Culak (Bulls B), and in the net, Sean Pepper (Bulls) and Miceal O'Neil (Whalers).

The Chiefs played really offensive and opened the score quickly on the first minutes. B league players made their best to play a defensive game but the Chiefs, most experimented, found easily the right opportunites to score 10 goals in the first period.
The second period started really strong as the Chiefs made really a good offensive passes game. It was tough, but, each B League line had some opportunities in front the Chiefs net but they didn't succeed to score.
Last Period was a bit more exciting, there was still a good atmosphere on the ice (even after 18 goals), and the B League Team was given some chances to score. The Cubs/Vixens opened the score after fighting on the rebound in the Chiefs Goalie Pads. Daria #66 shot on the net and, then, Celia #13 came to help her on the rebound. Then, few minutes after, Jussi Pitkanen, from the Bulls B line, scored again.
In the Overall, this exibition game was a great success as spectators assisted to a good and smart game from the Chiefs vs B League player.
