Welcome to Cubs Hockey!!!

Hello, my name is Scott Latimer, and I have been asked to take on the role of head coach for the inaugural season of the Cubs ice hockey club in the IIHA developmental league. Having been a part of the league for the past few years, i am looking forward to taking on a new role in the IIHA.

I am originally from Winnipeg, Canada, moving to Ireland in the winter of '06. Having played the game of hockey for the past 25 yrs at various levels, i hope to bring a bit of knowledge of the North American style of play and combine it with the European style to create a unique and simple way to play the game. I have had the experience of going through several coaching clinics and classes over the years in Canada, with the honour of coaching several teams at different levels.

I am looking forward to the up and coming season in the IIHA as head coach of Cubs Hockey. My goal for this season is to have a competitive year, while enjoying the game at the same time! I am eagerly awaiting the first drop of the puck!!
