Cubs played short hands with only 3 players in defense and they knew from the beginning they would have to be strong...

1st period was very tight, as, the bulls b only managed to defeat the cubs defense once with a deviated shot from the blue line which landed just behind Rebekah's back. Both teams played well offensively and get some shots on the opponent net.

2nd period started bad for the cubs as the bulls b scored quickly another goal. The cubs had no choice, they had to score now their first goal. Genevieve #18 made the pass in front of the net, and, Jana #23 opened the score! Bulls b scored one more time before the end of this period.

3rd period was the last chance for the cubs to come back, and they knew that they have to fight harder. The bulls b played rougher and managed to break the defence two others times. Jana had an amazing opportunity and made a great slap shot straight to pepper's net and scored. After that, cubs felt the tension on the ice and bulls started looking for penalties. Jana #23 get injured on an interference in front of the net which didn't help. Cubs and their great goalie fight till the end of the period and finished the game with a 5-2 in favor the bulls b.

That's one of the best game the cubs had never had, and they are ready for their revenge soon.
